The Vision Behind 100K Seeds
100K Seeds is a churchwide movement inviting the Sanctus community to live missionally in everyday life.
When we gather to worship and grow in God’s Word, God pours into us. As we go back into our neighbourhoods, workplaces, schools, and relationships, we can pour out to others — sowing acts of love, service, generosity and gospel witness.
Over time, even the smallest of acts can grow into life-changing fruit in our communities.
Together, we are believing for 100,000 missional acts by December 2030 — each one representing a seed of Kingdom impact planted through everyday faithfulness.
This is about cultivating a culture where living missionally becomes natural, joyful, and part of who we are as followers of Jesus.
The Rhythm of Missional Living
The heart of 100K Seeds follows a simple rhythm:

I was sitting in service at Ajax when I felt the Holy Spirit tell me that I need to go on this missions trip.
What is a Missional Act?
A missional act is an intentional expression of the love of Jesus that points people toward Him.
Intention
Seeking to reflect Jesus
Sacrifice
Offering time, generosity, emotional energy, or comfort
Direction
Responding to the people God is calling us to love
Purpose
Pointing toward the hope of Jesus
Types of Missional Acts
Every missional act takes a different form. Find the one that fits your gifts and circumstances.
Encourage, Care & Hospitality
Creating space for connection through meals, conversations, presence, and care for neighbours, coworkers, classmates, and friends.
Service & Advocacy
Serving people in need through practical acts of compassion, volunteering, or supporting local partners and organizations.
Generosity & Giving
Sacrificial generosity through giving, supporting partner initiatives, or participating in fundraising and awareness efforts.
Invitation & Faith Conversations
Inviting others to Alpha or church, sharing your faith story, giving faith resources, or engaging in meaningful spiritual conversations.
Other
Acts that fall outside of these categories but still reflect the love and mission of Jesus.
Why This Matters
Throughout Scripture, God’s Kingdom grows through seeds — small acts of faith that produce lasting fruit.
Jesus describes this in the Parable of the Sower, where seeds planted in good soil produce an abundant harvest.
(1 Corinthians 3:6)
Mission often begins with personal transformation. In John 4, the woman at the well encounters Jesus, and her transformed life leads many in her community to believe.
This is the vision of 100K Seeds: lives transformed by Jesus, sharing living water with others, and watching God grow a harvest through everyday acts of faith.
