Plan 3: A five-year vision for Sanctus
Plan 3 is our invitation to worship with our whole lives — through prayer, service, generosity, and bold faith. Over the next five years, we believe God is calling Sanctus to grow deeper in devotion so that our mission flows from worship and our worship fuels mission. Let’s keep seeking His presence, expecting Him to move, and building together.
Why Plan 3?
“Go and make disciples of all nations”
Matthew 28:19
But how we live that out must keep growing and adapting. We believe we’re at a hinge moment—like when the Israelites stood at the edge of the Jordan River. They had to step out in faith before the waters parted. This is our moment to do the same: to trust God, listen for His leading, and move forward with courage.
Plan 3 is our response.
It’s a five-year roadmap shaped by prayer and discernment. A way to move forward together—growing deeper in discipleship, wider in reach, and stronger in unity. Because strategy doesn’t replace faith; it follows it. This is more than a plan. It’s an invitation to build, to believe, and to be the Church—fully devoted, Spirit-led, and ready for what’s next.

A Church That Grows in Every Direction
We’re living in a moment where people are spiritually curious, yet often disconnected from lasting truth. At Sanctus, we believe growth is more than just numbers—it’s about being deeply rooted in Jesus.
While 6,800 people call Sanctus home and 3,600 attend weekly, what excites us most is that over 5,000 are engaging in at least one of our five Discipleship Dimensions: Celebrating Big through worship, Connecting Small in community, Walking with Jesus in spiritual practices, Sharing the Work through Spirit-given gifts, and Engaging in Mission by serving and giving.
Creating Space for Encounter
Worship at Sanctus is more than music—it’s a sacred invitation to meet with God. Through Plan 3, we’re building a culture of musical worship that’s Spirit-led, joyful, and marked by excellence. Every detail, from songwriting to production, is crafted to remove distractions and foster meaningful encounters.
We’re also investing in the next generation—equipping kids, youth, and young adults to lead with skill and spiritual depth, ensuring worship continues to grow for years to come.

Faith Grows Best Together
Connect Groups are where discipleship gets personal—spaces rooted in Scripture, prayer, and honest relationships that help us walk closely with Jesus and one another. In Plan 3, we’re investing in strong, spiritually gifted leaders and building new pathways for people to form and join groups. Our vision is clear: by 2030, we hope to see 40% of Sanctus actively growing in community through Connect Groups.

Investing In The Next Generation
Kids, Youth, and Young Adults need more than great programs—they need spaces to grow, ask hard questions, and encounter God for themselves. Plan 3 focuses on cultivating age-appropriate discipleship through trusted weekly gatherings, strong transitions between life stages, and support for parents and leaders alike. From Sunday services to everyday conversations at home, we’re preparing the next generation to thrive in their faith and carry it forward.

Becoming a Praying Church
Prayer isn’t just a ministry at Sanctus—it’s our lifeline. In Plan 3, we’re growing into a church where prayer is part of our culture, not just a practice. From creating prayer spaces at every site to launching strategic prayer campaigns and equipping leaders, we’re mobilizing everyone to grow in both the gifts and disciplines of prayer. Whether in worship, ministry, or everyday life, we’re committed to seeking God and contending for what only He can do.

SITE EXPANSION
After years of preparation and prayer, we believe God is prompting us to step forward again. While many churches across Canada are closing, we feel called to expand—carrying the mission of Sanctus into new communities. By 2030, we plan to launch our sixth site, Sanctus Toronto, while remaining open to wherever else He leads.
Our mission remains the same: to see more people encounter Jesus, be transformed by His presence, and sent to meet needs in His name.
Raising the Next Generation of Church Leaders
Canada faces a shortage of equipped leaders willing to shepherd God's people. We're building a School of Ministry Leadership—cohorts, apprenticeships, and accredited seminary education—to raise up men and women who lead with conviction, character, and courage.

100K Campaign: A Movement of Missional Living
Through the 100K Campaign, Sanctus is committing to 100,000 acts of missional living by 2030—each one a simple, faithful expression of God’s love. Whether it’s praying for a neighbour, serving through a partner, or joining a site initiative, these acts will become a visible movement of compassion across our region. This isn’t just about doing good; it’s about making God’s love tangible—one person, one moment, one act at a time.
Love in Motion: Local & Global Mission
This year marked a powerful return to global mission as a Sanctus team traveled to Jinja, Uganda, partnering with Jinja Connection—a ministry serving street-affected children with daily care, education, and long-term family support. Through devotionals, classroom time, and street outreach, our team witnessed God’s heart for the vulnerable in action. These moments echo our local and global vision: to live missionally through faithful, everyday acts of love—whether across the world or across the street.
Alpha: Creating Space for Curiosity
Alpha gives people space to ask big questions, explore faith, and encounter Jesus in a welcoming, no-pressure environment. Over the next five years, we’re committed to running Alpha 100 times—across our sites, online, and out in the community—making it easier than ever for people to discover the gospel. By expanding Alpha into multiple languages, we’ll continue widening the invitation so even more can meet Jesus where they are.
A Call to Generosity
Everything in Plan 3—from launching new sites to discipling the next generation—depends on God’s provision through His people. We’re inviting everyone at Sanctus to join us in this next chapter through faithful, sacrificial giving. Whether it’s monthly support, special gifts to the Vision Fund, or legacy giving, every contribution builds more than programs; it builds lives transformed by Jesus.
