Responsibilities
- Participate on a weekly worship team, leading worship at least twice a month.
- Champion and develop local team culture in alignment with the Worship Team Handbook and service Focuses
- Execution and administration of site-level events, local partnership initiatives, and team community gatherings.
- Lead the ongoing execution of the worship and production ministry at the site level
- Oversee and Lead the volunteer local site leadership team including:
- Music Lead
- Admin Lead
- Technical Coordinator
- Participate in the Worship Apprenticeship Program at the site level.
- Vet and administrate the worship team onboarding process for Port Perry
- Oversee the Port Perry Worship team schedule
Additional Central Responsibilities (distributed between Site Coordinators):
- Oversee central team nights
- Assist in SCW internal and external bookings
- Assist in SCW songwriting/producing
- Assist in All Staff meeting worship needs
- Assist in live worship recordings as needed
- Assist in creative projects as needed
Education and Experience
- Experience leading musical worship vocally for multigenerational congregations
- Ability to self-accompany is an asset
- Experience leading a contemporary band and the ability to communicate musical direction
- High familiarity with Planning Centre Services (PCO), Google Suites and Hubspot
- Experience with using in-ear monitors, playing to a metronome, and tracks
