Overview

Our vision is to become a missional church of 10,000 meeting the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of people in Jesus’ name. Reporting to the Production Director, this position supports that vision by assisting with the technical and production elements that help create engaging and well-executed Sunday services and churchwide events.

This role provides hands-on experience in live production, including lighting, sound, stage setup, and service preparation. The Production Intern will assist with the technical preparation and execution of in-person and online services, support video production needs, and help with special projects such as equipment organization, system improvements, and production upgrades.

The rate of pay for this role is $19/hr.

Due to funding restrictions from Canada Summer Jobs, applicants are required to be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons between the ages of 15 - 30. International students, — including those on a work permit or student visa — are not eligible.

  • Responsibilities
  • Assist with lighting, sound, and stage preparation for Sunday services.
  • Support setup and tear-down of production equipment for services and events.
  • Help maintain production areas to ensure equipment is organized and clean.
  • Assist with technical support for filming projects and online worship content.
  • Support the team during churchwide events and special gatherings.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to service planning and production coordination.
  • Contribute to special projects such as equipment upgrades, system improvements, or production renovations.
  • Education and Experience

    Educational Background:
    Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or training in Production, Audio Engineering, Media Production, Technical Theatre, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    Experience:
    Experience serving in live production, church production, or technical theatre is a strong asset.
    Familiarity with production software such as ProPresenter is an asset but not required.
