Our vision is to become a missional church of 10,000 meeting the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of people in Jesus’ name. Reporting to the Executive Pastor of Services, this position supports that vision by assisting with the planning, preparation, and execution of weekly worship services and related projects.
This role provides hands-on experience in worship ministry, including service planning, volunteer coordination, music leadership, and production support. The Worship Intern will assist with Sunday service preparation, special music events, and more. Musical ability and a heart for worship are important assets for this role.
The rate of pay for this role is $19/hr.
Due to funding restrictions from Canada Summer Jobs, applicants are required to be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons between the ages of 15 - 30. International students, — including those on a work permit or student visa — are not eligible.
Educational Background:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or training in Music, Worship Ministry, Theology, Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Experience serving on a worship team, leading worship, or playing a musical instrument is a strong asset.
Basic familiarity with live production, audio mixing, or music planning software is helpful but not required.
